Although Eastleigh Borough Council tell me that they have a "Brownfield first" policy, there is little evidence of that actually being implemented. They seem to be bending over backwards to accommodate the developers preferences. EBC proposals are currently for 1000's of homes on greenfield sites, including the destruction of some ancient woodland and supposedly protected sites...
