What remains of our country that is ours if we simply release our responsibility to maintain our local resource to "others"?

The gov't should put money into maintaining this wonderful site rather than allowing the funds that could do this to simply "disappear into thin air".

It may be in a state of disrepair right now but were the gov't to put a stop to and use a portion of the money that is 'disappearing' towards this, we Ghanaians would be still the proud owners of this regenerated tourist spot - and it would not cease to generate the income that it started off doing.

Selling a national beauty spot just because of the lack of money is not the way forward. Ensure you have a persuasive say in how the Gardens are developed and run. It would make more financial sense and would not draw national criticism.

Even if there are laws and caveats written into what ever contract, those will be subject to interpretation by whoever can hire the cleverest lawyer.
