It has been done so badly over many years many trees are badly mishapen and frankly look ridiculous. Blacktown is meant to be a "green city" but its tree lopping is a disgrace.

All advice we have read is that palm trees should not be pruned in a way in which they have been last week.

A week on they are looking very sick, let alone ugly and severely unbalanced.

These were on our own land and not the nature strip and were clear of the wires. They are well established and have never needed to be trimmed before. We love our palms and now they are a disgrace and are truley in risk of dying.
