Ms. Mary Norcross, Mifflinburg, PA, United States of America
I wish people who burn wood to heat their homes would realize that there are many of us who suffer because of this. Right now, my sinus feel as though they are on fire, and my lungs are fighting to breathe. I use two different kinds of aids to assist with my breathing, and wear a mask inside my house when my neighbors are burning their wood. I'm desperately searching for another home somewhere so that I can breathe and be pain free from this torture. Thank you for your time.

Dr. Rolf Czeskleba-Dupont, Hvalsø, Sealand, Denmark
High tech detection has shown experimentally that regular burning in wood stoves releases amounts of dioxin in levels as the EU limit value for Municipal Waste Incinerators (Methodologically advanced Danish research). Dioxins reinforce existing carcinogens as PAH, which also are a prime characteristic of wood smoke emissions. It is the political-administrative system which lags to implement the consequences: outphasing wood stoves with start in dense settlements.

Ernest Grolimund, Waterville, Maine, United States of America
I agree completely. The U.S. CDC has written that "If you see or smell smoke, there is a health problem", in other words. I personally have been exploring this problem with the Maine DEP and EPA modellors and keep seeing 80 mcg/m3 pm2.5 or more and monitoring checks this from Can Lung Assn studies. Photos show houses and cities engulfed in wood smoke and the worst pollution is invisible. I have seen heart attacks and asthma attacks and people die from smoke exposure and government negligance.
