I have paid out over $46,000.00 in 12 years, been jailed and continue to serve probation only to find out after DNA testing that I am not the father. The Child Support Division stated in court although I'm not the father I have no other option other than to continue paying because I didn't find out within 4 years of the birth. It's amazing how DNA can aquit a rapist or murderer but doesn't apply in paternity.
