A site for a memorial for the Families of 911 victims to visit and mourn their loss. A site for New Yorker's & tourists to visit, reflect and remember the tragedy that occurred on September 11th. And a symbol of pride in our country to show the world. A token of ThANK YOU to show respect to those brave men & woman who have the courage & selflessness to protect New Yorkers from harm on a daily basis and continue to protect the freedom of the citizens of the USA.
A secondary priority should be for the museum of 911 artifacts & the education of the events leading up to, during and after 911. However, these artifacts & memories are the property of every US citizen who endured those events and there should not be a hefty cost for viewing them.
As a business person, I am shamed that we have allowed this to become a "business". As a business person I also understand the costs associated with running this type of operation but I would also believe that there are OTHER avenues of creating revenue to operate rather than charging for entry.
