Please consider Mr. Mohamad's plea to remain in Canada.

I've known him and his family since 1993, when I was at Carleton University and founded the Afghan Student Association. He is most dedicated supporter of women's rights and respect for humanity, and an active member of the Afghan-Canadian community.

It will be a sad day for Canada if we promise to help Afghanistan, but deport a 73-year-old Afghan father and grandfather on alleged claims rather than proven facts.
