We are all people: female or male, mother or father. Fathers desire a relationship with their child just as much as mothers do. Yet they are disproportionately deprived of this by the court system.

If the shoe was on the other foot, there would be an uproar. Suffragettes secured equal rights for women. Now we need equal rights for men.

She got 9 months, but got out of prison after 7 weeks on a tag. Now she is out of prison the Courts and CAFCASS are still on the side of the mother. I have a daughter from a previous relationship and even though i spit up with my daughters mother 10 years ago i still see my daughter on a regular basis. i have joint parental responsibility and joint care. She's never had a smack or been put in danger in my care!

The law needs to be changed so that parents whichever sex have equal rights to see and be part of their childrens upbringing and life.
