Watching the makeover program in the UK Ty and the design team and all the contractors that have worked so hard to help those folk in most desperate need has brought me many a tear, some laughs and some ideas too.

The program has lots of merit, and it's success is down to the sum of it's parts, Ty Pennington being the kingpin that draws the whole enterprise together.

My uncle who also does the same line of work you do, made a bad call in his life and is now serving six years in Federal Prison located in Lexington, KY. He donated the materials, paid his workers out of his own pocket and donated his time while roofing the roof at the handicap camp on the Extreme Home Makeover episode. My point is he made a bad judgement call and now everyone suffers for it.
