Obviously the developer is only thinking about his own pockets. Maybe he/she should consider putting money into making our bridge wider (which will never happen)

Seems pretty obvious that this plan is ridiculous.

Also, this is valuable land - in much more than just a development dollar figure.
I feel this land should be set aside and held tight as wild parkland and protected foreshore - something our community and valley is loosing at an alarming rate. Looking into the future and given the topography of the area, environmental changes, present exploding growth on the west side and the limited development already present, I believe it would be a smarter option to protect the area. I strongly believe the Blackmun Bay area should be treasured and protected as a natural wildlife space.
Any development, and especially one such as this with so many people and more boats, would forever ruin this beautiful area.

Picture this! Fire in Case Loma and growing by the minute! Newscast after newscast talks about only a single access road that is being blocked by chaos caused by emergency vehicles who cannot enter the area and residents who cannot leave this fire inferno. Mayor Milsom and Councillors are asked what to do. Let's see now whom that would include: His Worship Gord Milsom, Councillors Rick de Jong, Doug Findlater, Jason Friesen, Stephen Johnston, Carole Zanon, and Jason Zilkie. Wow! What a legacy they could own! Perhaps, what they should do is now and not later and simply not approve a development that could put so many of their residents in harms way--after all it is their duty to keep us safe!
I expect all remembers 16 August 2003, the firestorm that forced the evacuation of 27,000 residents and consumed 239 homes not so far from here. Our neighbours shared the same lake and also backed onto a treed park. They however had access to roadways and managed to escape leaving behind homes and memories that went up in flames over several days. We have a single access road. There may be no escape not only from fire but other disasters as well. I beg you do do the right thing and vote against what could become a huge caster for this reason as well as many others.

I do not support this development because of the traffic congestion it will cause as well as how many more boats it will encourage on the lake. A smaller less greedy development would be less taxing on the environment & the current residents of Casa Loma & Lake view Heights.
