Michael Gynn still lives and works in the city, despite being so badly treated by the football club he served so well. He spent nine years at Highfield Road, a pocket dynamo who played a crucial role - and scored key goals on the road to Wembley. Yet just before he was due to get the reward of a testimonial, Bobby Gould sold him to Stoke, even though Gynn wanted to stay.
The club needs to right a wrong. To do so would cost the club so little. Gynn was always popular on the terraces, partly because he gave everything to the club, it's time the club gave something back.
We, the undersigned, demand that Micky Gynn is finally given the testimonial that his service to Coventry City FC merits.
