I am seeking to have Spousal Support abolished in the State of Virginia. It is senseless for men/women to be paid for a marriage that no longer exist. If they are strong and independent they should not be given the privilege of receiving a check from a working individual.
Child support is a different issue and should be addressed at a separate time. People are lazy and looking for a free ride and it is time for it to stop.
