Abolish the £10 charge for alleged administration costs for a replacement T-Mobile SIM card
- Target:
- T-Mobile
- Region:
- United Kingdom
I lost my T-Mobile and O2 SIM card one day. I called T-Mobile and was directed to a call centre in India. I requested a replacement from T-Mobile. The website states the following:
"We'll send you a replacement SIM card - a £10 charge applies to cover administration costs which will be debited from your balance or added to your next bill."
I requested a replacement SIM card from O2 and they said they would send me a brand new replacement SIM card with my same original number completely free of charge. No administration fees.
With a few clicks of the mouse, is the T-Mobile charge justified? What if you have insurance and your phone/SIM card was stolen? Would you still have to pay the fee?
We, the undersigned, call on T-Mobile to eliminate the charge applied for a replacement SIM card to cover so-called administration costs.
