When someone abuses an animal, in Idaho, they are given a misdemeaner. But in many other states they are felonies. I believe that animals have a right and if people are so cruel that they have to hurt or kill any animal they should be given a felony. Misdemeaners are like a slap on the hand. I have done lots of research and believe that I daho should change the law of being given a stupid misdemeaner. We need to stand up for the ones (animals) who aren't able to stand up for themselves!
We the undersigned want change to Idaho's law of giving people misdemeaners if caught abusing an animal. We believe that animals have a right and if people are so cruel that they have to hurt or kill any animal they should be given a felony.
