On January 14th, 2019 Alana Tamplin left her home to walk to a school designated bus stop. Her walk was without a sidewalk along a road with little light and hazardous.
Alana was killed by a motor vehicle.
Alana was a middle school student soon to attend high school.
Alana never attended a high school.
The school district is in the process of permanently naming a high school currently named MMM. Alana's last halloween outfit was as an M&M!
Making the name Alana Tamplin High School provides the most important memorial that children matter in Lee County School District!
