Allow portable air conditioning units in the classrooms

Petition to allow portable air conditioners in classrooms. The kid's and their teacher's suffer in the summer months in the hot sticky classrooms. 10 Fan's blowing around hot air does not cut it. The school's light's are always off to hopefully reduce the extra heat and it does not do much either. Parents’s have walked into these schools to find the kids sweating and they are miserable.
Parent’s are forced to send their kid's and even the teachers into a building that is not fit for our young children to learn in or for any adult to teach in. They are supposed to be comfortable while learning. Not being comfortable disrupts the learning process.
Pictures have been shared of numerous schools reaching 85+ degrees.
The teachers are willing to pay for the units themselves for their own classrooms, which means no cost to the parents or school districts.
They are all going to have a hard enough time trying to understand each other while both are wearing masks.
The kids and teachers cannot sit in 90 degree classrooms and be expected to wear a mask as well. Please sign this petition to allow Portable air conditioners in every classroom and maybe we can make a difference. Thank you
