My wife and I have owned two Audi's and are disappointed as to how the high oil consumption issue is handled.
Both of our vehicles have used oil right from the get-go, but they say it is normal for a car to use 500ml of oil every 1000km. Bullsh1t, no car in proper working order should use oil to that extent. My A4 1.8 had to have pistons and conrods replaced at 60 000km, because it was using more than their spec of 500ml per 1000km.
My wife’s A3 1.4 TFSI DSG is using oil now and is going in for an oil consumption test in the next couple of days. The oil low warning came on after 7000km from its last oil change. This means it has used nearly 3.5 litres of oil in 7000km. So for a 15k service interval that’s 15 cans of oil. It’s insane.
Her car has already been in for one oil consumption test, but when I took the car back in after 1000km it had MORE oil in it than when it left the dealership to start the 1000km test. When I took this up with them, the workshop manager, Paul told me to my face that I had put oil in the car during the test. I insisted I didn't, but he said I must have. Then we did the test again, and the usage was within spec.
If find it hard to believe that Audi engineers deliberately designed their vehicles to use so much oil. It’s a manufacturing fault, that should be listed as a recall, whether in motor plan/warranty or not.

3. Does your Audi A3, A4 or A5 year model between 2006 and 2014 use a lot of oil?
Their specification for normal usage is too high. These cars should not be using that much oil. The normal spec needs to be adjusted, and affected vehicles fixed, in or out of motorplan.
