I am officially starting a petition to ban all non-essential flights originating from select West African countries.

It's bad enough that they brought this disease through our backyard in Cobb county in a "controlled" way but now there may be a person infected with Ebola in our most populated city. #BarakObama #Nathandeal #NGA #dosomething

I would like to get this simple letter to the President:

"Mr. President,

The United States has the means to fight Ebola but only under controlled conditions. We are too heavily populated and too closely connected to risk the chance of a pandemic. If even one person dies from the Ebola virus in the U.S. then you have failed us. No political gain is worth the lives of thousands of American citizens. The office that you occupy has the means to enforce strict protocols that will minimize our exposure to this virus.

If ever there was a time for you to implement a travel ban of such magnitude then this is it. Please work with the national security team and key agencies to conservatively protect our country. There are millions of women and children as well as elderly people that stand no chance against this disease. Please do the right thing, uphold the integrity of your office but most importantly protect the American people.

Sincerely,

Kennesaw, GA, USA"
