In the United States, millions of wild animals, including foxes, minks, and chinchillas, are kept in small cages on fur farms solely for the production of fashion items and accessories. While states like California have passed complete bans on new fur sales, and major fashion brands have voluntarily gone fur-free, federal law still allows the commercial breeding and harvesting of animals for their pelts. Modern textile manufacturing has created high-quality, durable, and warm synthetic faux fur alternatives, making the traditional fur industry entirely obsolete and unnecessary for consumer needs.

We, the undersigned citizens and advocates for animal welfare, firmly believe that animals should not be subjected to confinement and harm for luxury fashion products. Because humane, high-quality alternatives exist worldwide, we respectfully demand that the federal government introduce and pass legislation to prohibit the farming, slaughter, import, and sale of commercial animal fur products across all 50 states. We voice our support to protect our nation's wildlife and establish a more compassionate, fur-free future for the United States.

We, the undersigned, call on the USA to eliminate all fur farming across all 50 states. Every year, animals are slaughtered for their pelts, which is completely unnecessary due to the fact that we have faux fur to substitute for the animals real fur. Some states have banned it, but not all. All animals deserve to live their fullest, happiest life without being slaughtered in the end.
