Though he only appeared in four episodes, ruthless drug kingpin Tuco Salamanca was a favorite of many watchers of Breaking Bad. Unfortunately, Tuco was killed off early in the series per request of Raymond Cruz, the actor who played him, as the role was difficult for him to play.
However, Cruz was asked to reprise the role in the Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul, which took place six years before Breaking Bad. In an interview, Cruz said he was excited to reprise this role. Because this series takes place before Breaking Bad, Tuco is not yet discovered through meth and his behavior has not yet grown quite as extreme as it was in Breaking Bad.
When asked if there was any "good guy" in Tuco, Cruz made mention of the fact that no person is one-dimensional and that Tuco has a sense of community and family. In other words, there is more to Tuco than drugs and violence.
In another interview, Cruz says that loyalty is a top value for Tuco. Tuco is perhaps the most psychologically intriguing character in the Breaking Bad franchise and it would be interesting to see him from all sides. Because he was not a main character before, some tended to overlook his importance, while many others were saddened by his death. Some even stopped watching the series after he died.
A spin-off revolving around Tuco would receive positive attention from fans of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, especially those who were invested in his character.

We would like to request AMC Networks to create a spin-off about Tuco Salamanca, taking place in between the time frames of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
We understand that this role has been physically demanding on Raymond Cruz in the past, so we suggest that not every episode be too action-packed.
This would also allow us as watchers to learn more about Tuco as a person and not just as a merciless drug lord.
While his erratic behavior is essential to his character, we care about the well-being of the talented actor portraying him.
Our intention is not to demand too much from Cruz, but to learn more about Tuco and understand him better.
