As you may know, it has been announced that there will no longer be Mac Dances following the winter formal on January 19th of 2018. Hundreds of students to whom these dances mean the world will no longer have the opportunity to attend another event, and the younger siblings of these students will never even get that chance once. These dances create a safe environment where teenagers can have a clean good time. They come from miles around, looking forward to and planning for these events months in advance, glad to have a place to go where they know that they'll not only have a wonderful experience but be safe while doing so. This petition is an appeal to those in charge to continue these dances for said students.
We, the undersigned, petition for Scott McNamara and the organization that creates the Mac Dances to continue keeping these dances going.
