The Willow Festival was a free and hugely successful live music festival that was held on Peterborough Embankment over 3 days every year between 1999 and 2003. In 2002 38,000 people attended the festival and 53,000 attended in 2003, making it by far the biggest live music festival of its kind in the region.
The purpose of this petition is to call on Peterborough City Council to show support and be the financial anchor behind any future festivals, which, undoubtedly, will be as successful (if not more) as the ones in the past.
The festival is ready to be resurrected by the original organisers it is just needing the support from Peterborough City Council.
