The Gulf War(1990-1991) was the biggest military confrontation involving the United States since Vietnam.
The U.S. and other countries succesfully repelled the army of Iraq from Kueait, which it had invaded in August 1990.
Over 170 personel in the United States Armed Forces lost their lives in this conflict.
We ask you to sign this petition to support the building of a Gulf War Memorial in Washington D.C. that would be dedicated to the men and women who fought along with 15 other nations to repel Iraq from the peaceful country of Kuwait in 1991.
