Cadw HSBC Llanrwst - Save Llanrwst HSBC

Mae HSBC wedi cyhoeddi bwriad i gau tair cangen yng ngogledd Cymru, yn cynnwys eu cangen yn Llanrwst yn mis Mehefin. Rydym yn gwrthwynebu amddifadu cymunedau o’u canghennau banc, ac yn pryderu’n arbennig am fusnesau bach lleol, unigolion a grwpiau gwirfoddol sydd angen defnyddio’u banc yn rheolaidd.

Mae HSBC, a’r Midland cyn hynny, wedi rhoi gwasanaeth da, dwyieithog, yn Llanrwst ers cenedlaethau. Byddai colli’r gwasanaeth yma yn ergyd ddifrifol i Lanrwst ac i ardal llawer ehangach.
Ar ben hyn, mae adeilad yr HSBC yn Llanrwst yn adeilad eiconig ar sgwâr hanesyddol y dref ac mewn perygl o gael ei adael i fynd i gyflwr gwael os bydd yn cau ym mis Mehefin 2017.

Rydym yn galw ar HSBC i gadw eu cangen yn Llanrwst er mwyn parhau’r gwasanaeth i’r dyfodol.

HSBC has announced it is closing three branches in north Wales, including its Llanrwst branch in June. We are opposed to this abandonment of communities that rely on access to bank branches, and are especially concerned for small local businesses, individuals and voluntary groups that need to use the bank on a regular basis.

HSBC, and the Midland bank before it, has offered an excellent bilingual service to Llanrwst and the Conwy Valley for generations. Losing this service would be a severe blow for Llanrwst and the wider communities.

Furthermore the HSBC bank in Llanrwst is located in an iconic building on the historic town square and is in danger of falling into disrepair if it closes in June 2017.
We call on HSBC to keep their branch in Llanrwst to continue this service to the future.
