EE customers who have purchased data packages for use with their smart phones or tablets are finding that they cannot download mobile broadband data on their devices in the Wrexham, North Wales area. It is particularly problematic in the town centre covered by postcodes LL12 and LL13 and has been problematic since at least March 2014.
The matter has been reported to EE and they claim there is no problem. Customers are dissatisfied in the fact that they are paying for data but not receiving any via EE.
Customers of EE either living or visiting Wrexham are therefore calling on OFCOM to investigate EE's failures to deliver a fit for purpose service.
We the undersigned call upon OFCOM to investigate why EE customers in the Wrexham (LL12/13) areas cannot download mobile data even though EE are happy to receive payment for data packages from customers.
We further call upon OFCOM to investigate why the Wrexham area has no 4G coverage even though EE has promised it for some time.
