Censure or Expel Ilhan Omar from Congress for Failure to Uphold her Oath of Office and Disregard for the US Constitution

We, the undersigned, are proud Americans who believe in the preservation of the United States Constitution and democracy in our country.
When Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar was elected, she took an Oath of Office. She affirmed to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. However, she now fails to uphold her Oath.
On July 7, 2020, Representative Omar spoke decisively, stating that she wanted to “dismantle” the American systems of criminal justice, policing, health care, education, and employment. These statements outline a callous disregard for respect of the Constitution of the United States of America. According to our forefathers, our Constitution is to be “amended,” not dismantled.
We move that these systems which Representative Omar would so carelessly discard are central to our inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, guaranteed by the Bill of Rights for all Americans equally. Without the safety of a police force, a strong, free economy, and education to prepare our children to be the leaders of tomorrow, our nation ceases to exist as we know it.
