As of November 1st, 2009 WMBC ended its broadcast of KBS World on digital channel 63.5. This service was free and only required a digital tuner connected to a television to be viewed within the metro NY/NJ area.
Two local cable companies-- Time Warner and Cablevision both offer a channel called MKtv which broadcasts many KBS World programs which are entertaining, educational, and family-friendly most of which offer english subtitles for non-Korean speakers.
A list of programs available on MK:

Both of these providers are not offered in my town of residence. I am within the Comcast coverage area and I am sure that I am not the only one that want MKtv to be added to Comcast.
We, the undersigned, call on Comcast to work with MKtv to add them to the standard Comcast Digital Cable lineup.
We, the undersigned, will contact Comcast via e-mail, fax and/or phone to ask them to add MKtv because we enjoy the high quality family friendly programs that they provide as well as encourage international cultural awareness and popular culture admiration between the Republic of Korea(South Korea) and America.
We, the undersigned, do not represent MKtv or KBS World or act on their behalf. We are only fans of said networks and only wish to be provided the same opportunity to view their programs as the customers of Cablevision and Time Warner do.
