There is a compelling need for traffic calming measures to be taken at the 3 way intersection of Campbell and Randa Roads in Craigavon.
The existing stop street is largely ignored resulting in numerous serious accidents, road rage incidents and blatant disregard for road safety. There are four schools in the vicinity with children being walked to and from school at all times of the day. As well as large numbers of pedestrians at peak times. Speed bumps or an additional traffic circle is urgently required at the intersection to reduce traffic speed and enforce road safety.
We the undersigned call on the Gauteng provincial government and town planning to provide further traffic calming measures at the intersection of Randa and Campbell Roads in Craigavon.
