One of the first 10 changes promised by our new PH government is to remove GST. I'm sure every single citizen is glad to hear that effective 1st June 2018, GST will be zero rated (0%).
However, recently it has been announced by the Ministry of Finance that our country debt has surpassed the 1 trillion mark. It is now our time to shine as proud citizens of the new Malaysia. Show the world that we are united as a nation!
We will not live happy to pay 0% GST but to watch our new government pay the whole price to repair the damage previously caused. We will stand as one, to overcome this barrier together!
For a better nation,
For a better home.
We, the undersigned, call for the Malaysian Government to redefine the revised Zero rated GST (effective 1st June 2018), to a value within the range of 0% to 2.00%, with condition:
(1) GST to be adjusted to 0% once the country's debt has been lowered to RM100 million mark.
(2) By the end of year 2023, GST has to be adjusted back to 0%, regardless the amount of country's debt at that time.
