Municipal budgets are service-based... the question isn't 'should we' or 'shouldn't we,' it's 'how much?' Specifically, 'how important is this in relation to other priorities for the money?'
An inclusive recovery could begin by diverting half the Canadian federal government's crown budget to housing priorities until housing costs Canadians less than 30% of household income.
