As you are all aware BP recently had a major disaster that has caused millions of tonnes of oil to spill into the Gulf and this is destroying everything it engulfs.
BP also stated before this horrendous incident that this type of accident could never happen.
So why then did it happen?
With this Petition we the undersigned demand that governments and oil companies around the world stop this type of drilling.
The BP disaster has proven beyond reasonable doubt that oil companies are not concerned with the environment or its vital Biodiversity that is required to keep the planet healthy.
We call on Governments across the world to stop the drilling and at the same time bring in stricter safety drilling legislation for any further type of drilling, where ever that may be on the planet.
