This arose after going to my grandfather's funeral I was pulled over by a highway policeman who proceeded to give me not only a ticket but was very rude during my time of grief.
This being my second offense I decided my right of choice has been taken away from me.
It is bothersome to know another American freedom is taken away from the American people and that is the freedom of choice.
My petition is to eliminate Offense code 94 which requires everyone in a motor vehicle to wear a seatbelt. This is completely an individual's (over the age of 18) choice to decide if they want to wear a seatbelt.
Anyone; infants, children, and under the age of 18 should be required to buckle up but anyone over the age of 18 should have the choice. This is another way for the states and government to make another dollar off of the American people and should be stop.
Please sign if you feel like its your choice!
