Fix Muswellbrook

From the neglect which our community has experienced in the last few decades its about time we move on this and do this ourselves as a community

The mining royalities the NSW government continues to get should be diverted to the areas which produce most of the profit not the pittence we currently recieve from the state and federal governments.

Here is our demand list

1) New Hospital the current hospital is 30 years old and is horribly inept with providing the essential services to Muswellbrook and the region, where we have to go to Newcastle or Mailtand for specialized care.

2) Town Bypass duel carriageway either through extending the hunter expressway or just continue the duel carriageway bit from the power stations to just after scone.

3) An entertainment quarter

4) Better transport links to Newcastle and Sydney.

5) Make the town more appealing to families not just DIDO's or FIFO's

6) Expand the economy to more than just mining like have manufacturing in thie town to bring in the jobs and the money to secure this towns future because once the coal's gone than Muswellbrook is gone too. Because to have growth we need a sustanable economy.

7) The Muswellbrook Carnivale idea is excellent but why not make a Muswellbrook Shire Food and Wine festival and let everyone experience the great food and wine we have available in our shire outside of the Denman Food and Wine festival.

8) Since the shire has so much sunshine why not build a solar plant in the town to bring down our carbon footprint and to make us a sustainable city.
