There is a Health and Safety issue with the footpath which connects Queensland Drive and Fifty Pitches Road and is the only pedestrian walkway between Cardonald Train Station and Cardonald Business Park.
The issue is in relation to the footpath consistently flooding making it very difficult for people to pass through or reach their place of work safely and comfortably. As this is the only walkway, people either have to walk through the flooded area leaving the person very wet and uncomfortable or use the railing to pull themselves along the ledge at the side of the footpath which is very dangerous.
This issue has been previously reported to Glasgow City Council's Land & Environmental services via phone calls and letters, however with no success. It would be much appreciated if you could assist in getting this issue taken forward by signing this petition in order to get this issue resolved quickly to prevent any accidents from happening.
We, the undersigned, call on Glasgow City Council to permanently resolve the flooding issue on the footpath which connects Queensland Drive and Fifty Pitches Road at Cardonald Business Park.
