My name is Sandrina, i'm 24 and I suffer from CF, a condition that affects my breathing. One of my many hobbies is travelling but because of my health I do require oxygen during the flight and it actually happened to me that an airline wanted to charge me 800£ for a 2hour return flight. I don't agree with some airlines charging +50£ per flight whilst others are able to supply free oxygen. When researching the prices for In-Flight-Oxygen I found no connection between the initial price for the flight and the additional charge for the oxygen.
This issue afflicts everyone with advanced lung disease as well as elderly people who may require oxygen on a plane and unless airlines are forced to rethink their prices people like me are not able to afford a holiday abroad.
We say, Free oxygen should be supplied by all airlines.
