In 1989, Erik and Lyle Menendez were sentenced to life in prison for the murders of their parents. But their story is one of survival, not murder. The brothers were victims of years of horrific abuse at the hands of their father, a truth that was overshadowed by a flawed trial. New evidence has recently emerged: a letter from Erik in 1988 describing the abuse, along with allegations from former Menudo member Roy Rosselló, revealing the depth of their father's predatory behavior. This evidence shows the brothers were driven to an unimaginable breaking point, not cold-blooded murderers.
After 30+ years in prison, it's time to correct this injustice. Erik and Lyle Menendez deserve a second chance at life. They were victims, and they deserve justice.
We have until January 30, 2025 to make a difference for the Menendez brothers before their resentencing hearing. This is our chance to show the world that they were victims of abuse, not criminals, and to urge Governor Gavin Newsom to grant them clemency.
Our goal is to reach 10,000 signatures- let's make our voices heard before January 30th!
Survivors Deserve Voices, Not chains.
We call on Governor Gavin Newsom to grant justice and release Erik and Lyle Menendez. The Menendez brothers were victims of years of abuse at the hands of their father, and their tragic actions were a result of this torment. With new evidence revealing the depth of their suffering, we urge the Governor to reconsider their sentences and provide them with the justice they deserve. We have until January 30, 2025 to take action-let's make our voices heard.
