The situation at Zaventem Brussels airport on Monday May 2nd was unfortunate. People queuing up for three hours and still missing their flights. Ridiculous.
Is this why thousands of people demonstrated against ANGST and terrorism getting a grip on our daily life?
The military coup on the departure hall is more a ‘état de siège’ worthy of a Costas Gravas Movie (‘Z’). Make the airport express incheck possible from the chunnel train platforms at Brussels South railway station and most of all avoid creating massive gatherings outside the departure lounge where any terrorist can have a go. This is stupid, damages our image abroad, keeps business travellers from passing through Zaventem…
We petition for better access to Zaventem Airport Brussels:
- no to excessive security;
- yes to reasonable check-in;
- yes to immediate check-in through international departures Brussels South railway station & secured train shuttle to and from Zaventem; and
- please return to normal soon.
