There are about four million Somalilanders living in Somaliland. And although Somaliland is not officially recognized as a part of the UN, it has been an autonomous country since 1991 with its sovereign economy, government, and way of live.
However, as of now, Facebook only has Somalia as an option. This petition recognizes Facebook's effort to be inclusive and welcoming to all of its users, and therefore, calls Facebook to officially have Somaliland as an option of its enlisted nations.
I, the undersigned, firmly support and call on Facebook to officially have Somaliland as an option of the nations listed.
