Harrow council own fly tipping

However Harrow Council has adopted a policy of its street cleaners collecting
rubbish and leaving it at street corners to be collected at a later date. This has
encouraged other fly tippers to leave their rubbish on the same street corners so
it will be collected with the general waste.

As well as this, no recycling seems to be taking place as all waste, including
garden waste, bottles, tins and general waste go in one bag, which does not
seem to separated. For a Council that wants to be known as the best recycling
borough in London, they should not only stop fly-tipping on street corners but
also separate their rubbish when it is collected.

There is a petition below asking Harrow Council to remove the bags on the day
they are collected and not be left overnight or over weekends - which has been
happening on Long Elmes and the High Road
