Bound Brook Estates has been a thorn in the side of Cutrone Road residents for fifty years. Allowing Raymond Wennick to build 109 houses, known as Bound Brook Estates on a swamp area caused massive damage to our homes and properties and it continues to this day. We have had not assistance from the City of Norwalk despite years and years of promises. We are fed up.
We, the undersigned, are demanding the same attention for Cutrone Road as is being given to the surrounding streets. After nearly fifty years of pleading for drains to catch some of the water coming down the hill and flooding the area between Cutrone Road and Dixie Lane, we have been ignored. We have asked for the sidewalks to the repaired so that the children walking home from Kendall School do not have to walk on the road, again, we have been ignored. We now find that for the first time in 52 years Cutrone Road will finally be paved but we do not even qualify for new curbs. The City of Norwalk permitted Bound Brook Estates to be built in the 1960's and that has been the cause of all of our water problems. Bound Brook Estates is getting all brand new curbs and drains while Cutrone Road once again gets the shaft. As tax payers, we demand the same attention as the surrounding streets are receiving. WE REFUSE TO BE IGNORED ANY LONGER.
