Help Irish troubled teens off the streets

We, the undersigned, are appalled are the disregard for human life especially for those who are homeless, people who are homeless are no lower than anyone else, we are all equal and all deserve respect.

Some homeless people have given up at this stage due to the fact that half of the time they queue up to get into a hostel all the places are gone,
by 8 o clock at night every bed is gone in a homeless hostel in Dublin, so why bother when you know your going to be turned away?

Currently the main charities running these hostels and shelters are, The Salvation Army, The Simon Community, St. Vincent De Paul, Focus Ireland, St. Catherines Foyer among other smaller ones, but what we have to remember is unfortunately but its true, is that most homeless shelters are geared towards adults, very very few are suitable for kids and teenagers.

But even at that the amount of homeless shelters at the moment cant keep up with the amount of homeless we have so how are we going to provide accommodation specifically for teenagers, when we cant even deal with the current percentage of homeless people we have now.

What needs to be done is, new shelters have to be built for teenagers, ones where they don't have to be afraid they might stand on a syringe, or might be raped at night, or the fact they have a bed but cant close their eyes for fear of sleeping in case something happens to them, we need to provide proper accommodation for these kid, to show them people do actually care about them and believe in them even if they don't believe in themselves.
