Currently the Kokeshi Roller Dolls, Okinwa's first women's flat-track roller derby team, practices on Kadena Airbase in Okinawa, Japan in an outdoor location.
We desperately need to secure an indoor practice and bouting location in order to train year-round and prevent the weather from thwarting our bout schedule. However, it is possible that the 18th Force Support Services does not understand how important roller derby is to the morale and welfare of the players and fans.
We would like to illustrate the support for Okinawa's roller derby through the signing of this petition.
We, the undersigned, call on the 18th Force Support Services to provide an indoor location for the Kokeshi Roller Dolls to practice and hold bouts.
