Marty Stuart started playing country music already at a very early age. Born in Philadelphia, MS he started playing the mandolin in Lester Flatt`s band in 1972, later was a band member in Johnny Cash´s band before he started his solo career in the 1980s.
He released 24 solo albums, won 5 Grammy`s and he is the ambassador for traditional country music. He preserves the tradition of country music and bluegrass with his music, his country music collection and his photography.
He`s a master on mandolin and guitar playing country, bluegrass, honkytonk, gospel and a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
It is already long overdue that Marty Stuart in inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
