At 30 weeks pregnant with high risk mo-mo twins I had a placenta abruption and nearly lost my twins and I nearly died from blood loss. I was not given inpatient care as the UK doctors believe this to not have been researched enough to do so.
The fact is if I had not been in the hospital when my placenta abrupted I would have died along with my twins. It was explained to me through out my pregnancy the risks and danger of this happening and yet after asking several times for inpatient care was told it was not an option.
We, the undersigned, call on the UK Government and/or Parliament to make inpatient care in the UK for twin pregnancies and high risk pregnancies an option to the mother.
