Inquiry and a Review of Child Protection laws. Aimed at Women who have babies removed Consistently Because of Drugs, Mental Issues, Domestic Violence.
Kids removed because of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, DRUG ABUSE, EMOTIONAL ABUSE, NEGLECT.
Examples of kids in long term Care,
34 year old 7 children different fathers. Ages ranging 10 to 12 months old.
22 Years: 3 kids, 5 ,4 and 7 months removed , another on the way .
21 years 5, 3, 2 and a newborn.
These woman have been allowed to take newborns home after already having some in care and within months the newborns are removed. All received the baby bonus and Centerlink payments. EACH TIME A CHILD IS REMOVED THEY HAVE ANOTHER ONE . NONE OF THEM HAVE EVER WORK .
If the child is removed after they have the baby bonus they should have to pay it back..
When they have a second child they should be removed at birth, then have to prove themselves that they can take care of the child.
We, the undersigned, call on the Australian public to ask the Government to investigate this nation wide epidemic and change the laws.
1: Second child removed at birth until they can prove themselves to be a fit parent and lose of payments;
2: For 18 year orders the parents should lose their rights. See the child on their birthday. Have limited access , No say in how the child is raised.
3: After being with the carer for 2 years they should be allowed to adopt at No cost to the carer;
4: If a child is placed in care and family members live interstate and want the child , they shouldn't have to move to that state.
