My son, Joshua is a victim of SBS and I also witnessed my ex-boyfriend hitting my 9 and 1/2 month old son's behind with his diaper off the State of Texas says it is not against the law to "spank a child 0-17 years of age" I think that the law needs to be changed.
No-one should be able to hit a baby and get away with it. Please sign this petition so hopefully this law will be changed. CPS says it is child abuse but the law doesn't.............Lisa
There is not a law against spanking a child in the State of Texas even if they are a few months old. A baby doesn't deserve to be hit in any way.
Please sign this petition and urge the State of Texas to change this law to spank children ages 3-17 as soon as possible.
