How will Facebook try to change our lives? Facebook is now a publicly traded company worth $104 billion, that’s how. Facebook has managed to destroy the trend of people hiding behind anonymous names on the Internet to speak freely.
The social network has over 900 million monthly active users, the majority of whom are using their real names and can no longer hide. Facebook controls our privacy. Facebook is trying to rule our lives using its vast social networking power. But that doesn't mean that it will, or that if it tries, it will succeed.
Oppression is commonly deemed a problem of freedom. Silence is oppression and FB has silenced those who have the right to free speech. They have stripped the 1st amendment out from our lives to expand their control over their users.
Now a public company, we should demand the legal rights and governance be handed over to the users to control with due process, no more tyranny by this company, United we shall stand and take control of what is ours!
We demand the release of all blocked users! No more silencing those who FB deems not worthy.
Individual users have the capabilities to block unwanted post, it is no longer necessary to be controlled be the FB monitors.
We have the right to post freely to those who want to listen and the others can respectfully turn them away.
We do want your control over our lives and this community forum is free to the public and should be free for the public to control!
