Residents of Bedford NH do not want a change in zoning from commercial to residential on Rte 101 which goes through our town. Someone has asked for a variance to build stack-n-pack apartment buildings in a rural area along Rte 101.. We have been fighting to keep stack-n-pack housing out of our town and particularly on this road. But special interests have come along and want to make a quick buck. We do not want to allow them to ruin the rural character of our town.
To the Residents of Bedford, NH:
At the May 17, 2022 Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting a request is going to be made for two variances to build APARTMENT BUILDINGS on Rte 101 just beyond Hannaford's Market where the zoning is only supposed to be COMMERCIAL.
This flies in the face of what 1,300 of you have petitioned against in the past.
PURPOSE OF PETITION
Please sign the following petition to demand that the zoning board NOT approve changes to allow RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING APARTMENT UNITS on Rte 101 in Bedford on those lots or anywhere else where it is zoned for commercial.
