Booker T. Washington High School for the performing and Visual Arts is recieving a brand new building! However, during the construction of this building the current students are going to be displaced.
The fact that we must move is not of concern. The problem is that we are being removed from Dallas' Arts District. This area is extremely important in the success of the school and should not be thrown away.
The Arts District is Booker T. Wahington's home, and that is where we need to stay!
The following students of Booker T. Washington feel that the interim building should be located in or very near the Arts District.
