Since the expansion of UA School for Wildlife conservation into a high school the children of the Mohegan school C.S. 67 have experienced great loss.
* Loss of rooms = loss of classes per grade = loss of teachers;
*Due to lack of space, resources are limited to support students with disabilities, students at risk, and english language learners.
* students no longer have access to Mohegan school library or computer lab.
* 4th floor bathrooms shared by both schools creating safety issues.
*Mohegan students are afraid to walk the hallways or go to the bathroom due to bullying by "wildlife" students.
* Mohegan students have been attacked and harassed.
THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!
We the Parents and community of The Mohegan School C.S.67 ask the New York City department of education to consider the safety of the children of Mohegan and remove Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation from 2024 Mohegan Avenue and house them somewhere else.
